Our process for serving clients

We serve our clients with the HI-5™ Process, a system trademarked by our firm.  By having clearly defined steps, clients know where in the process they are toward meeting their goal.

HI-5™ Planning Process

  1. Introduce – this, often the most important step in choosing a law firm, is where we meet new clients and where clients meet us.  Before we work with each other, we want you to be comfortable with us.
  2. Integrate – understanding your needs, family members, resources and desires and integrating them with the best available current legal, tax and asset protection strategies.  This will either occur as the second part of our first meeting or as a follow up second meeting.  This is where we will take what we know and offer solutions and strategies to meet your situation.
  3. Initiate – executing a well designed strategy by preparing and then signing legal documents.  Once we agree on a strategy, our office will prepare the various legal documents to make the strategy come to life.  A third meeting will take place where documents are reviewed with the client and signed before witnesses and a notary.
  4. Implement – customizing an asset transfer plan to take advantage of the documents or legal entities established in the third step.  Funding the plan is the process of retitling bank accounts, real estate, insurance and all other assets to match the plan executed in step 3.
  5. Investigate – keep your strategy and plan design effective as changes in life, law and assets occur.  The one constant is that change will always occur.  While we attempt to build in flexibility into all of our plans, it is critical to monitor your situation and changes in the law.  We monitor changes in the law and will keep you updated if you are a Client Protection Plan™ Member.
